The Role
As part of our Onsite organization, we are looking for a self-driven and ambitious Android developer responsible for the development and maintenance of Hopin onsite mobile apps.
Your primary focus will be development of the application and its integration with back-end services. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is comfortable in a fast paced start-up environment as well as working with a remote development team. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of a quality product is essential.

Responsibilities
- Design and build application for the Android platform
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of application
- Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization

Requirements
- Commercial experience in Android Development for (4+ years)
- MVVM, ViewModel and LiveData
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Experience with testing at the unit, integration and functional levels

Nice to haves
- Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
- Experience with websockets and real-time messaging, e.g. Pusher
- Experience with coroutines and reactive programming using Kotlin Flow
